My Totally Hot Car: 1953 Packard Deluxe Clipper

November 24th, 2009, 4:46 pm · 1 Comment · posted by Matt Degen

Here’s another oldie and goodie, and a model you don’t see around too often. This is a 1953 Packard Deluxe Clipper owned by Keith Alber of La Palma.

Alber has owned the car for 30 years, and notes that this version is even more special because it has factory air-conditioning.

Under the hood is a 327-cubic-inch straight 8 Thunderbolt engine, which, Alber says, “has lots of high-speed torque for passing.”

This car was a beauty in its and is still a standout more than half a century later.

Thanks for sharing your car with us, Keith! It’s Totally Hot.
